1-Year Singer Course
The 1-year singer course is aimed at singers who wish to improve their singing skills. The course is open to singers from all genres of music. On completion of the course, the participants will have achieved a higher professional level of singing ability. Improvement of the individual singer's technical and artistic development will be the primary goal of this course.
The course is taught as 6 seminars, 3 days each within a year.
The course is currently available in Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki, Amsterdam and Zürich.

Practical information
Dates
The course will be taught over 6 seminars, 3 days each - all within one year. To view dates for all courses in all cities, please go to Course Dates.
Lost days/seminars can be recapped in any other 1-year group as an active or passive fly, depending on the number of singers in the group. This is only possible up until 3-6 months after your own group has ended.
Time
10-17 hrs.
Course fee
In Denmark DKK 36.500 / € 4.870. In all other countries € 5.125 (Due to travel and boarding expenses).
A deposit of 25 % of the full course fee is to be paid within 2 weeks after your sign up. The deposit secures your place on the course. It is not refundable if you choose to withdraw from the course. Full course fee payment is due before the beginning of the course. Please read our standard terms.
Number of participants
12 in each group.
Teachers
The teachers are authorised Complete Vocal Technique teachers and they will teach their specialist subject. Only highly qualified and experienced teachers of the highest professional standard will teach on the course. Cathrine Sadolin does not teach on this course.

CVI in Copenhagen, Föreningen Brage in Helsinki. Oslo, Hamburg, Ghent, Amsterdam and Zürich to be announced.

The 1-year CVT Singer Education counts 20 ECTS-points for the full course.
Working hours:
Attending classes: 6 seminars x 3 days x 6 hours = 108 hours
Singing practice = 5 hours per week = 240 hours
Homework studying CVT = 5 hours per week = 240 hours
Total hours of study: 588 hours
Subjects:
Personal vocal development and education: 4 points
Musical and artistic approach to singing: 6 points
Training auditive analysis, recognition of singing techniques: 4 points
Solving common technical vocal issues and problems i.e. hoarseness, prevention of problems, and emergency aid: 2 points
Different learning types their practical application: 2 points
Music business related issues and exchanging of experience: 2 points
